Meet the maker

Hello! My name is Hayley. I'm the founder and maker of Jolly Nose: A small, independent business based in Stanford-Le-Hope, Essex, selling handcrafted wax melts, candles and home products.

As a single mum to 4 children, my home is my sanctuary – but it can feel a bit like a zoo sometimes! Having always been frustrated that I couldn't find strong smelling and long lasting products, I started experimenting with making my own wax melts and candles. After sharing with family and friends, interest grew and within a couple of months I was selling to customers. In 2023 I started selling under the Jolly Nose name, and the rest is history!

All products are handmade by me in my home. I take care personally to craft, hand finish and package each item so that by the time you receive your order, it feels like a treat (you deserve it!). I only ask that you remember that as a small business it takes time to make everything with precision and care.

I do my best to ship orders quickly, but in busier times your order may take a little longer to reach you. Don't worry, I'll always let you know if this is the case.

Community plays an important role in Jolly Nose. You can regularly find me at local fetes and festivals including Arthur Bugler primary school fetes, Feast and Fayre in Horndon and various events at The Bull Pub. A small selection of products are also available in-store at Betty's Bits n Bobs in Corringham town centre, and we offer in-store pickup for all online orders too.
